Former Springbok and Italy coach Nick Mallett has slammed a number of high profile Springbok potential captains Jean de Villiers and Pierre Spies amongst others.

England's 42-man squad have landed in Johannesburg to begin their three-Test tour of South Africa.

A 42-man England squad skippered by flanker Chris Robshaw arrived in Johannesburg on Thursday to start a five-match, three-Test tour of South Africa.

After travelling overnight from London, the 2012 Six Nations championship runners-up took a one-hour flight south from the South African financial hub to the Indian Ocean city of Durban.
